Master of Divinity

As of April 2016 the Agees are working on establishing a ministry in Honduras.

Ben Agee is the President and founder of LOVEM Care Ministries  Ben and his wife, Julie adopted a little girl from China in November, 2002.  During this adoption, they learned of many needs of orphans as well as the needs of adoptive families.  At that time, Ben was near graduation from SWBTS with his Master of Divinity and was seeking the Lord’s will on where to serve in ministry.  Ben was introduced to Dan Dubell with International Care, Inc. and felt led to work as a volunteer with International Care to minister to orphans through promoting international adoption.  As a part of this work, Ben and Julie later began what would become a long and difficult failed adoption of a teenage girl from Central Asia.  Through this attempted adoption, the Lord opened the eyes of Ben and Julie to the fact that not all orphans are legally adoptable.  They began to look at the staggering number of children that would never hear about the love and hope of Jesus.  In April, 2004, Ben and Julie answered the call to reach out to those children at risk eternally and have been ministering in a variety of ways ever since.

Ben was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel at First Baptist Church, Panama City, FL in 1991 and served a startup mission church in Seagrove, FL as their first Pastor.  Ben has held various lay leadership positions in the church, the most recent of which was leading his church to move from being a missions-minded church to being a church that is personally involved in the action of missions.  Ben has worked as a volunteer in orphan and adoption ministry since 2002.  Ben’s orphan ministry work includes serving as the Executive Director of International Care, Inc., as well as the current position of President of LOVEM Care Ministries.  Ben also serves as a Deacon at his current church (Victory Baptist Church) in Saint Marys, GA.

In addition to his work in the church and with LOVEM Care Ministries, Ben is also a full-time Computer Engineer.  Ben has over 17 years experience working with people and projects as an Engineer.

Ben and his wife Julie were married in 1992 and have 4 children.
Ben and Julie Agee serve as Division Director of LOVEM Care Ministries, a compassion ministry that has developed humanitarian and missions partnerships in Central Asia, Honduras and Nicaragua.  The mission of LOVEM Care is to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of children at risk everywhere

Our vision is to be a catalyst for local churches and churches in other countries to start ministries to children at risk. It is always our goal to work with and through local churches both in the U.S. and abroad.

We run a half-way house for young girls who have outgrown the orphanage in Kazakistan.

A team from South Tampa Fellowship went on a trip to Central Asia in October of 2008. Although the team was not allowed to conduct a sports camp at the local orphanage, the team spent every day at the House Of Hope, pictured in the slide show.
